Default Hold more then 100k in inventory

I think you should be able to hold more then 100k in your inventory. This way when buying, you dont need to give annoying ecto, you can just give it all. It just makes things so much easier.

On a side note, I wouldn't mind being able to trade from your storage without putting the items/gold in your personal inventory.

That would be very nice, too. The littlest things make such a difference

If people plan on scamming by cracking in and giving away your stuff... they can just do 2 trips anyway

Even though I've never Had 100k in total, nor do expect to... Still...
+Totally agree with the trading direct from storage.

Going to go against the grain on this.

It helps create an upper limit / glass celling to prevent things from going to high / to insane and I do know people found a way around it via high sudo-stable items. That and with the ability to buy charater slots and providing more with expansions, you have more character's that can hold gold.

Increase the limit of inventory gold and you increase the limit that things can cost from traders. 100k for a Sup Absorption was bad enough, but could you imagine paying 200k?

I couldn't imagine paying 100k, seems pointless to us normal players, -1 DMG recieved isn't worth a price premium of 20k, let alone 95k or more.

/signed,
read above we are ALREADY paying over 100k for stuff, just not in gold (we pay in stuff like ecto), so I have no idea how it WOULD hurt to give out the amount of gold in ecto
lets say an item cost 160k, i think atm ecto = 6k, so we would pay 100k+10 ecto

BUT, u can only trade 1750 ecto at a time, so those PERRRRFECT rare skins, are impossible to buy, unless you trust someone a lot, so if GW doesnt want to give us more availability in trading ,tehn stop making some items soo rare so no one can buy them... BUT this thread is useless, GW has already said that they are upgrading trade significantly in a while. this would also reduce scam to...... nothing

thanks lurid for correcting my retarded math skills below!!

6 * 6 is not 36, WOOT i learned something new

160k = 100k + 10 Ectos, that is if you are pricing them @ 6k as you say. Since 6 x 10 = 60 =)

The only item I ever saw selling at the traders for 100K was the sup absorb...and the last time is was that high was like what? 2-3 months ago? Seeing as that sup absorbs will be two for a penny by friday, I don't think it matters how much you can carry in your inventory...

nono jessyi, most people here are talking about the buying of rare high end items... (Ex. 15>50 req 8 crystalline sword) taht sword would cost over 1750 ecto,,, or used to, who knows prices anymore, but i just realized taht upgrading the amount of gold in your inventory would force them to upgrade amount of gold in your storage, and i dont see taht happening, i dont know why.. maybe they will add it in their "upgrade to trades" update.

Huh? Yeah...I know...I merely stated that there was no reason NOT to increase the amount you can carry on a single character. I don't really know/care how it would be implemented, but not having to deal with the crappiness of ectos today is something I will sign too. Which I did. See above.

im sorry..i like the idea but uw has already fallen behind fow so much you need ectos to be sellable. Hardly any ectos would sell if they were no longer needed to buy items. Also it is harder to scam with ectos. Also, I know that Anet does not liek items bieng worth to much and prices would increase so not signed

I think it puts a good limit on how much people can charge for things, which is a good thing in my opinion
